Current Events: Snowman Economics 1/27/10

Source: CNN Student News

Today on CNN Student News one of the reporters used building a snowman as an example for building the economy. The reporter was trying to fix a snowman named Jeff. Unfortunately for Jeff, the snow was too powdery. The reporter got some other people to help him, and they got a bucket with some water in the bottom. They put the snow in the bucket with the water and the snow became more slushy and sticky, and they fixed Jeff.
The reporter used the analogy of Jeff being the economy. The people had to look at the snow and change the snow to make it different to be able to fix Jeff. Jeff is like the economy because people had to look at things in different ways and make changes to fix him and the same goes for the economy.
I think it was funny that they used a snowman named Jeff to represent the economy. I think it was a good analogy.

Tomb 10A

My impression of the 10a mummy exhibit is that it was awesome.  The head was probably the best part of the exhibit.  The kenopic jar in the exhibit had the head of a human and feet.
The museum was pretty cool.  I really liked the Greek exhibit we visited.  I would like go back and see the other Egyptian art.
I think that if we ever go to the Boston museum of science it will be just as fun as the MFA.  The boats in the tomb were amazing.  I especially liked the military arrow ship armed with a wotcha.
