How does studying rocks and minerals give us a better understanding of the earth?

When we study rocks and minerals, we begin to learn about the earth's inner features. We found that there are different layers to the earth because as we go deeper into the earth, the rocks change. We learn that as we go deeper down into the earth, we see the history of the earth's past. We learn about past landscapes and when they changed. We also learn how landforms are created.

How do we learn about the earth's history and evoluation through the study of fossils?

We can learn about the history of the earth by studying fossils. We can learn how old some life forms are and how long ago humans existed. We can learn about the ancient landscape by looking at the animals that lived back then. By looking at what happended before we lived, we can predict what the earth may look like in the future.

I learned that guitar synthesizers are very cool. A chord is multiple notes played at the same time. A riff is notes played seperatly. I heard many different effects of the synthesizers like a helicopter a walrus and a horse. The two ways to strum a guitar are a pick or finger picking.

Re: Exit Blog Revised for 10.22

What are the effects an earthquake? Please give any known examples.

Tectonic plates moving and crashing together can cause earthquakes. An earthquake can destroy houses and everything else around the houses. People can fall and be killed during an earthquake, like when an earthquake hit the Golden Gate Bridge.

Thursday writing prompt

I am going to tell you some things about Ethiopia.  Did you know that coffee was made in Ethiopia.  I won't get into the details of that though.  Injera is the main bread of Ethiopia.  maybe you'll go to Ethiopia someday.

wednesday writing prompt

This prompt is about my usa map.  The first time I did the map it was very hard.  It was probably
because I  can't remember the states.  The second time it was easier.  now my map is completed.

tuesday writing prompt

I am going to write about landforms.  Glaciers are slowly moving masses of ice made by build ups of snow.  Next up is volcanoes, they are tubes that lead down to the core of the earth and they spew magma.  The grand canyon is the deepest place in america.  That wraps up my paragraph about landforms.

Ethiopia draft 2

ETHIOPIA

I am going to talk about Ethiopian music, food and Ardipethcus.  Ethiopian music is very lively. For food, I looked at Ethiopian bread. I went online to find out about Ardipethicus. Read on to find out about Ethiopian music and food, ……..and ARDI.

I chose to write about Ethiopian music. I learned that Ethiopian music only sounds good in the native language. Ethiopian music is usually danced to. I like Ethiopian music. It is very lively. The tune of Ethiopian music could work in English if you change the words.

I am writing about Ethiopian bread. Injure is the main bread of Ethiopia and the main part of many meals. It is like an Ethiopian Tortilla. Injera is made of teff, a tiny grain. It represents someone’s future or career.

My last paragraph is about Ardi. Ardi is older than Lucy. Lucy had smaller canines and a more advanced pelvis. Ardi proves that we didn’t evolve from chimps. Is Darwin’s theory destroyed?

Reader, I hope you liked this essay. Now you might be inclined to listen to some Ethiopian music while having some Injera bread and reading about Ardi. And now I’m done.
