My Name Mini Memoir Draft 1

Ian Littlefield

My Name 1/7/2010

My name is Ian Holt Littlefield. The origin of my first name is Scottish. My middle name is of Olde English origin. My last name was started by Sir William Littlefield. His coat of arms was a bird with an ear of wheat in its beak.

My names all have different meanings. My first name is Scottish for John which means “God is kind and merciful,” My last name means “Small pasture,” My middle name means “On a wooded hill,”

My names don’t really remind me of anything. I like my name because it’s short and easy to say. When people try to get my attention sometimes I don’t hear them say my name.

What are two things you learned about ancient greece?

I learned that the greeks didn't have ships until 3000 B.C.
I also learned that Lerna was the first Greek city to have a wall around it.
